HELLOOOOO!!!!! :D
Wow, wat een week! Er is zoveel gebeurd! Allereerst natuurlijk transfers! Sister Stout is mijn nieuwe companion! Ze komt uit Virginia en ze is ontzettend lief :) Het is geweldig om met haar samen te werken!
Goed, waar zal ik eens beginnen....well, misschien General Conference :D HET WAS ZO GEWELDIG! :D
Ik was verbaasd dat alle toespraken over de eerste drie lessen in preach my gospel gingen. het was echt back to the basics. I LOVED Elder Holland's talk! :D (duh) and Sister Reeves' talk! :D en elder Ballard's talk uiteraard, omdat het over zendingswerk ging :) Voor de saturday afternoon session (dus zaterdagavond bij jullie van 10 tot 12) gingen we naar het conferentie centrum down town and it was like super awesome! :D
Maar man, wat een gedoe daar zeg! Er waren zoveel anti people die bij het conferentiecentrum stonden te protesteren! :O Echt vreselijk! Een lid vertelde ons gisteren dat in de krant stond dat er nog nooit zoveel waren geweest! Anyway, het is ongelooflijk om daar binnen te zijn! Toen de conferentie was afgelopen liepen en we richting de uitgang, plotseling greep iemand me beet. So I was like: what the...? O.o toen ik me omdraaide zag ik dat het Zuster Kruizinga met Elder Kruizinga was!!!! :D Ik kon mijn ogen niet geloven!!!!! :D
Inspiratie die ik deze morgen kreeg:
We are all like a pencil. We hold the pencil in our hand. We can choose to write bad words or good words with that pencil. If our hands decide to write bad things, those bad words willl appear on the sheet of paper. Sometimes we regret the words we wrote down. Jesus Christ is the eraser. He is able to erase all of those bad words. He has the power and ability to do so, but it is still up to us if we want to pick it up and use it to erase all the bad words. But if we decide to do so we will be able to erase it all and change the words into good words. There won't be any evidence left of the bad words that were there before. All we have to do is: believing that the eraser is able to erase all the bad words and having a desire to change them into good words. Hopelijk snappen jullie hem :)
Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ will make our burdens light and more bearable. He will always be there for us. He will do all things for our sake. His hand of mercy is always there to enlighten us and to relieve us. Our trials and challenges will not be taken away from us, but He promises us that He will give us the strength to overcome them and to press forward. He will never ever forsake us!
Follow the counsel from our leaders! Our leaders knows best! I love you all and may the Lord always be with you and watch over you!
