First Month anniversary!

HEEEEEY ALLEMAAL :D

Hemeltjelief, wat is de de tijd voorbijgevlogen! Ik ben al meer dan een maand op zending! O.o :D I still LOVE LOVE LOVE the work :D The work is moving forward in this area :D  

 

Gisteren kwamen maar liefst drie van onze onderzoekers naar de kerk! It was awesome too see them in Church :D. Zaterdag hadden we een DA at the Morgan familie and he served his mission in the Netherlands, like 60 years ago :D A wonderful and awesome family :D I love them! sS we kregen Nederlands eten :D Nou ja, nasi goreng is kind of Nederlands...but it was SOOO GOOD :D So I was so excited to eat Dutch food :D (thank the Lord in every single prayer for your good food guys! & APPRECIATE IT :D) en de dochter van één van onze bischoppen (we hebben meerdere wijken in ons gebied) heeft in Nederland gediend. Ze is nu een halfjaar terug. Haar naam is zuster Townsend en ze bracht Nnederlands eten voor ons uit de Dutch Store :D So nu heb ik chocolade letters, kruidnoten, stroopwafels en drop :D So sweet of her :D (she knows elder Sumter by the way:D)

 

Miracles are totally happening here. The Spirit is really guiding and protecting us :) And preach my gospel says that people will recognize you as servants of the Lord. And that's true :) some members here see us as angels and some people do recognize us and are trying very hard to avoid us for that same reason :P But he, we can't force them :) That's not why we are here :) It's really all about inviting people to come closer to Christ :) And that's so awesome :D

Last week hadden we een les met een nieuwe onderzoekster, en ik had haar nog nooit ontmoet. We hadden gepland om de restoration te onderwijzen, maar toen ze begon te praten had ik heel sterk het gevoel dat we the plan of salvation moesten onderwijzen. maar ik wist niet zo goed hoe ik dat mijn companion duidelijk moest maken. Mijn companion had eerst the pamphlet of the restoration in haar handen, maar ze stopte deze weer weg en pakte het heilsplan pamphlet zonder iets te zeggen! :D Totally inspired :D So we totally were directed and guided by the Spirit! I love our companionship unity! The Spirit is SO important to teach and to meet people's needs. Because every person needs a different part of the gospel (well, they need the whole gospel of course, but you know what I mean) :)

I want you to know that I'm safe, that I LOVE this work, the area and the people. I know this is were I'm meant to be and to serve. Heel veel mensen hier hebben een conncetie met Nederland en doordat ik van nederland kom en sister Knight van Australia zijn we in staat om het vertrouwen van mensen te krijgen, conversaties te voeren en een relationship of trust op te bouwen. Ik had nooit gedacht dat dat één van de redenen zou zijn waarom ik hier moest dienen. Echt nooit gedacht dat mijn Nederlandse roots zo'n grote hulpbron zou zijn. It really means the world to me and it touches my heart.  

 

 

 

 

Onze onderzoekster :D We moesten leren how to begin teaching (oefenen dus). So sister Mandarine was willing to be onze onderzoeker. Het was hilarisch XD Tell you later about her and sent pictures too. :D

 

 

 

I encourage you all to be engaged in this awesome work! Help the missionaries out in Zwolle! Nodig ze uit voor DA, go on joint teach, be an example of Christ :)! Love it and live it! Love your new investigators and build a relationship of trust with them. Love is really the key :)

I love you and I'm looking forward to receiving your letters :D And please, let us do missionary work in our ward... Because all of our brothers and sisters in the world need salvation and Jesus Christ in their lives.
